In order to learn from other transition processes, PRW’s Rick Timmerman and Gerwin Klomp visited the Energiakademiet on the Danish island of Samsø and took a look around the electric-powered ferry ‘Ellen’, which operates between Søby (Æro island) and Fynshavn. During their time here, they saw, experienced and listened to all of the lessons that can be learned from two unique and high-profile sustainability initiatives in Denmark.
